California-based radio broadcaster, Salem Media Group recently announced that it has appointed Carolyn Cassidy as a General Manager for Columbus.
Senior Vice President at Salem Media, Allen Power said, “Carolyn is a veteran broadcast leader experienced in Salem’s formats and in the Columbus market specifically. This gives her a unique perspective as she embarks on leading our stations to greater growth and continued impact.”
Carolyn Cassidy takes the role of General Manager at Salem after serving in a similar role for KRKS-AM, KBJD-AM in Denver-Boulder and many more. Prior to this, Carolyn Cassidy worked at Salem’s Denver radio stations as the General Manager’s position. Moreover, she worked for Wilks Broadcasting.
She is familiar with Columbus as well as Denver and had been GM for Wilks’ stations in Columbus. Company’s two radio stations were acquired by Urban One and another one which is WLVQ-FM sold to Saga Communications.
