Lenovo $300 Mirage Camera Introduces Google’s New VR Format

China’s leading technology company, Lenovo’s VR180 camera hit the market since it’s launched. Lenovo’s Mirage Camera is starting the rollout 180-degree VR videos in real products. Lenovo’s VR camera now available in pre-order for $300.

Last year, tech giant, Google launched a new line of cameras for 180-degree VR video. VR180 is a collaboration between YouTube and Google’s Daydream VR division.

Lenovo’s Mirage Camera is the simplest way to capture life’s special moments in virtual reality. Cameras VR format integrates easily with YouTube Google Photos, so that user will share photos and videos with family and friends. The camera allows users to share, capture and relive like never.

VR180 supposed to be immersive if the user is facing towards and it does not stretch all the way around a viewer in Virtual Reality. The videos appear as traditional flat videos, but it is possible to watch them in 3D through the YouTube app with PlayStation VR headset.

When it comes to Mirage Camera design, then it’s easy to work with the latest product as compared with traditional. It is the first camera that supports Google’s new VR format. The camera features two 13-megapixel cameras that can take stereoscopic videos as well as images in the VR180 format. Sources stated that other companies will jump on board in the future while commenting it as a standard for VR going forward.

The tech giant also released a new VR180 app for android as well as iOS that is specially shaped to help users to manage, configure VR180 content to Google Photos and YouTube.
